Bouncers are on a power trip, used to dealing with drunk teenagers not adults! They need training in how to face paying customers, very poor standards, will not be back there! A great gig spoiled by over zelous poorly trained door staff! Would give zero stars if it was an option!

Handed in a legal carry pocket knife at entrance and was told by the member of staff that I could go to the cloak room at end of night to retrieve it. Where do I message complaints about your bouncers? They are totally out of order saying people are drunk when they don’t even drink!! And I don’t understand your system of and men only and women only queue (never mind the fact the women’s queue is a lot quicker and shorter) clearly sexist. Cathouse Rock Club is Scotland’s foremost & original rock club since 1990. Cathouse rock club is distinguished for leading the way in power age rock & metal with almost 3 decades of decadence. Now in our 29th year, we’re not afraid to embrace some genres you might not to expect in a traditional rock club. Times change, tastes change, & we like to make sure we play a mix of tunes throughout our 3 rooms. Over the years, Cathouse Rock Club have hosted both huge names in rock as well as smaller, more local bands. Our favourite performances include Anthrax; Black Stone Cherry; Frank Carter & the Rattlesnakes; Pearl Jam; Bring Me the Horizon; Queens of the Stone Age; & Fall Out Boy.
