Small Sainsbury’s generally quite poor with limited selection of groceries. The only saving grace for this establishment is that is located very centrally and is close the University of Edinburgh. It gets quite busy during lunch times but not sure about other times as I have only visited then.

Probably the worst supermarket in Edinburgh. Terrible range, crazy prices. The staff are almost always rude, but to be honest I don’t blame them - they’re clearly never comfortably-staffed.Unbelievably, it’s cheaper to go up the road to the “luxury” Margiotta supermarket.

Nice cosy branch mainly serving meadows area ... generally has most of your day to day needs, and staff are friendly and helpful. It's definitely a must-have amenity in that area right next to a starbucks.
