Passionate and helpful staff who go the extra mile to find a product that works for you. Yes you usually find cheaper elsewhere but they are "b corp" certified and try to use recycled/organic/eco friendly materials. Buying new will always have an impact but it's nice to see they try to reuse/recycle items.

Well laid out and some nice looking items but overpriced. I'll be going to Trespass or, even better, Go Outdoors for similar items at a fraction of the cost.

Think of us as your Lothian base camp, a really well-equipped gear store with the entire Alpkit product range inside. We've got wetsuits to try on, bikepacking luggage to fit for size and sleeping bags packed up to show their pack sizes. You can hire a bouldering mat, demo a bike, or book your tired and weary kit in for repair. Or you can just come in and hang out when you're soggy and tired after a full day running, biking or hiking!
