Excellent rooms, very clean. Right opposite the cathedral. Parking right outside.

Not sure where to start really. I'm sure many other reviewers have mentioned the lack of staff. The whole place clearly is a ghost of something far grander that used to exist. According to some locals we spoke to, in it's heyday Old Churches was a great hotel, had a lovely restaurant and was one of the town's cornerstones.... read full comment

This is a delightful little place to stay in a beautiful, quiet town. If you're looking for a nice "base camp" on your stay in Scotland this is a great choice! The train station is a 5 minute walk down the road and there are a few little restaurants/pubs even closer. One of most surprising little joys was the great water... read full comment
