Popped in to the Cooper Dog now the Spey Inn last week as we couldn't get in the Mash Tun. The staff were excellent, warm, friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. A nice atmosphere in an old hotel. Quite spacious as opposed to many places in Scotland. Very good food and service. The only place we found Cranachan. I believe they have changed the name to The Spey Inn

We tried the Copper Dog, we really did. It took us awhile to find the place, not their fault. But we did find the place, and then walked in, and then stood around for 5 or 10 minutes. The Spey Inn is the oldest drovers inn, dating back to 1703 and has been the hub of the local community for over 300 years.
