The Post Office facilities in Banchory are quite inadequate for the town. It can be closed without any notice. It is too small and understaffed.

Nearly half hour waiting only to be refused service because they don’t take $100 notes for dollars to pounds convert. That service needs to be fixed! What’s the point of having a service when you don’t take the money? Waste of time

Well, Covid is still with us and Christmas is coming. So the queue outside the post office is about 50 yards, and in the 10 minutes I spent, didn't move. And no, nobody in the queue was waiting for the Co-OP store in which the PO. is. And the post box outside was full. And also the other one at Tillybrake Road. Not good...
