Lovely place. Nice clean rooms.Friendly welcome. Nice bar and good breakfast. Catered well for my Gluten free needs.Rooms in good decorative order but a little dated. TV in room very small ( didn't work- not an issue for us but could be for others).Nice location in lovely townHope to stay here again

Had a nice meal there last Sunday so we are looking forward to going back tonight. Good food at ok prices in a nice quiet lounge with no loud music.

Small, friendly family run hotel in the centre of Ballater. The ensuite room was very comfortable, immaculately clean and well appointed. Breakfast was excellent. Great base for hillwalking and mountain biking.
