Just returned from 4 nights in the Yurt. Bed was very comfortable, Yurt clean. Log burner soon warmed the yurt on a night. Good supply of crockery etc and an initial supply of teabags and coffee, which was appreciated. I would have liked a mirror in the yurt, as the one in the toilet/shower room is quite high up. The Re-wilder's hut was peaceful with a very comfortable bed. An ideal place to spend time in a beautiful setting with loads of nature at hand. We saw three beavers and sat and watched them for ages in the twilight. Kitchen and bathroom facilities in the main house were also very good.

Stayed in The Gate Lodge Cottage to avoid the fireworks at home. A wee break with my daughter & dogs. Beautiful peaceful surroundings. Saw red squirrels on our morning walks & seeing them just made our day. Cottage was clean & tidy. No complaints. Fire was set up & basket of logs provided. From Bamff Honesty Shop/Self Service Café

Bamff Honesty Shop and Self Service Café is for locals, residential guests, walkers and cyclists only. There is NO PARKING for drivers. The shop has a range of useful items for our guests - from firewood to postcards, including pasta, tins of soup, crisps, chocolate and other bars, and soft drinks. Passing walkers may also make themselves a hot drink - tea, coffee etc are provided. It is unmanned/ self service and payment is via the honesty box. It is always open, day and night.
