We were a party of 4, we had 2 rooms. The Bakery, which was a very nice room, large with a tv area and nice sized shower room. The Granary, is an upstairs room. A quick over night stop on a Tuesday night. Good selection of ales and a good menu for all tastes.
The pub with rooms was built in 1838 and still holds it charm and character. A quintessential British village gastropub with rooms that offers a warm welcome for all. Providing freshly made and locally sourced food since 2004. Run by the Goss family it stays true to its roots and offers the best of local game and fayre. Known for its delicious game dishes of all varieties. Having held 2 AA rosettes for over 19years and 4 diamonds for its accommodation amongst many other accolades and awards for its food and service, this is a hidden gem not to be missed. Offers a wide variety of great wines by the glass and a great selection of local ales. Dogs are warmly welcomed. A lovely place to come and meet friends and families.
