The rooms are above an actual tavern! The staff is very helpful. Even the customers are willing to help you with the luggage. Quite rooms.

Stopped in for breakfast on a wet and windy morning at 9.30. Met and seated by a lovely, helpful young lady. The breakfasts were huge and very tasty and nothing was too much trouble for the attentive staff. If you are in Woodstock I would highly recommend this delightful old pub.
