“Upon arrival whilst I checked us in, my husband ordered drinks at the bar, Bacardi & Coke for me and an Ale for himself. It wasn't Bacardi, but Havana white rum. Returned that and mentioned it shouldn't be sold as Bacardi. The evening meal was lovely but was missing items off the menu unfortunately. The room itself was very nice and the bed comfortable. The bathroom was big and clean. BUT there was a loud humming noise which sounded like a boiler running all night. Neither of us could sleep. After a nice breakfast we left to come home both extremely tired. So if you do decide to stay, avoid Room 5. The staff are friendly as is the pub with good atmosphere. We would go again but request a different room ?”

“Fantastic Sunday lunch at this beautiful pub. The chef accommodated our numerous food allergies wonderfully and the food was delicious! They even gave our dogs a bowl of roast beef, we will certainly be back again soon.”

“I had the loveliest stay at this Inn while traveling in Oxford. I arrived later than expected and the owners, a very warm-spirited couple, welcomed me into such an inviting atmosphere. I asked if they served meals, and even though it was late at night, they heated me up some fresh-made curry and chutney which was some of the best I've had. I stayed up even later in lively conversation with them over curry and a half pint. A+ hospitality :) really lovely people. My room was spacious, impeccably clean, and my bed was comfortable. I had a nice view from my window into the quaint neighborhood as well.It is just a short bus or Uber from Oxford, which was fine since I didn't have a car.Stay here - you won't regret it!!Food & drinks: Some of the best curry I've had! What a luxury to come home to a warm, home-cooked meal.”

“We traveled here all the way from Texas, USA as a base for our visit to the Cotswold sand we were not disappointed. The Old Swan is quite magical in its history and quaintness, yet still had the amenities necessary to make for a very enjoyable stay. The Pie & Brew was fantastic with amazing traditional English food. We had dinner and breakfast there twice and loved all of it. The staff was extremely friendly and made this one amazing trip.We will be back, I just wish this place wasn’t 4700 miles away…”

“Had a great stay here. We visited for a friends wedding and needed a local base. The standard of premier inns I always high so we knew we would be safe here. We somehow managed to book a premier plus room without realising, which was a very nice room and was still a really good price. We really enjoyed breakfast and the staff were really friendly and helpful.”

“After reading the reviews I was dubious about booking but the location was ideal for what we wanted to do and where we wanted to go, and the price was more than reasonable. We visited in half term week with our 4 year old. Yes the hotel is dated in parts BUT everywhere was clean. Our family room served us well, the only negative was the lack of sockets but this is a minor thing. The pool was the right size for our daughter to use and again although the pool area and changing rooms were dated it was very clean. We ate in the restaurant on the first night for ease and found the food pricey (but we expected it to be) it was not the best meal but again we did not have high expectations following the reviews. Breakfast however was excellent on all three mornings. The staff here are fantastic, from the moment we checked in every member of the team we encountered were friendly, helpful and are a real credit to the hotel - in particular the chap who greeted us at breakfast each morning and remembered our daughter liked a straw to drink her hot chocolate! We would stay again if in the area.”
