Very disappointing service. Had an appointment booked to have my little girls ears pierced today at 12 noon and I filled in all the pre checks etc in advance. Received a text msg and an email last night just reminding me of the apt today. The Witney Claire?s is the closest branch as the westgate branch as now closed down, over 30mins journey. The apt we had booked gets cancelled by the store at 11.41am while we are in our way, no reason was mentioned in the cancellation. We get there and the lady in charge says no I can?t do the piercing as I?m not licensed to. I asked so why wasn?t we notified of it and why is your website still allowing us to book an apt when you clearly can?t offer the service. She then continues to say oh it?s not something that?s under my control and as soon as I saw the apt when I came in at 11am I cancelled it. First of all, the store opens at 10 and she cancelled the apt at 11.40 (20mins before the apt time).Don?t advertise service you don?t offer. Such a disappointing service from Claire?s. Waste of time!!

Great little shop, the kids always love going in, and the young lady behind the till was great. She was helpful, polite, conversational, and really made the shop very welcoming x see you again soon .
