I stayed here on the night of 28th January 2024. Although the hotel itself is overdue an upgrade, the customer service was excellent and the room clean and comfortable. The adjacent Harvester was grim .. extremely poor service .. people were sitting at tables and grumbling about the abysmal service.

The hotel is rather frayed around the edges and looks like it's well over due a revamp. The staff on the other hand are absolutely wonderful. I was there for my Mum's funeral and when they realised that the compassion and thoughtfulness was such a help. Worth a visit if only for the exceptional customer service.
