If you roll up with books to give to charity, forget it. You have to ring to make an appointment! Apparently it's for health and saftey reasons, as some books can be triggering for volunteers to handle. After two attempts to make an appointment, I gave up and chucked the books out.

A good charity bookshop. Stock can vary but prices are good. Some books not necessarily where might expect them to be shelved so look around the store and be sure to go downstairs.
We are Oxfam's first (and best!) specialist bookshop, open since 1987. As of 12 April 2021, we are now open again for sales (10am–5pm Monday to Saturday and 10am–4pm Sunday).
