My favourite place in Newark for delicious, healthy and beautifully prepared food. Gannets provides a great range of hot and cold drinks, gorgeous cakes made on the premises, and wonderful lunches featuring Gannets' famous salads and quiches. A lot of the food is vegetarian or suitable for vegans.
I eat regularly here and it’s always very nice food. The last two times I have gone for the specials. Beef curry and rice last time and chicken and sweet potato curry today. Both delicious but not quite filling enough. The portion size was just the wrong side of enough. I’d happily pay £2 more for a bigger portion... read full comment
