What a great find. The food and drink was excellent. The menu was unusual but very well thought out and the choices should cover all tastes. The draught beer and the wine selections were also very good.

Staying at a local caravan park as a stop gap on the way home to Suffolk. We decided to book a roast for the Sunday and also popping down for a few beers on Saturday. We booked a table for a Saturday, the front restaurant was reasonably busy when we arrived and got busier. The table was near the fire place and meant one chair had to be carefully placed to avoid half sitting on the hearth stone, the table kept losing one of the pads under it’s leg and this added to the slight precariousness.... read full comment
