48hr tracking and its stuck at this depo for over a week

Sent a 24hr tracked parcel to Jersey, from Leicestershire on the 12th. I tracked it to this depot (Northampton?) still there today,17/10/23 and Royal Mail say they "do not know where it is, maybe it is held up somewhere". Advised me to wait until the 22nd and make a loss claim.
What a disappointment and a waste of time,

I am waiting for a parcel since 3rd January,it has the P missing off postcode but address is in full,just going round in circles all over the country,customer services NO help whatsoever or complaints team
