Hotel on the edge of the city - 10/15 minute walk to the centre. Plenty of hotels in this area. Wetherspoons is opposite alongside a Travelodge. Would have given 4 stars for service but we had been to a show at the barbican and got back about 10.40. Wife went up to the room I wanted a drink so went to the bar. As I got there the bar man who was just putting a pint on the bar turned turned to me and said sorry we have stopped serving. I disappointedly accepted this... read full comment
