Nice pub in the centre of Skipton. Plenty of lagers and guest ales on draught to choose from. A very popular, busy pub nicely decorated and lovely old fashioned stone floors. My daughter's & I went to the Yarndale show in Skipton & booked in here for Sunday lunch. The food was exceptional as was the service. Lovely atmosphere, beautifully decorated. Would VERY HIGHLY recommend although we could have done with a nap afterwards not a 3 hour journey home ?

Took my friend on the canal boat tour then on to the wolly sheep inn for a meal for her birthday we both had the lamb sunday roast it was excellent the meat just melted in your mouth .The staff were very pleasant and nothing was too much trouble for them to do .The service was excellent and we would definitely be going... read full comment
