We went into the Halifax in Skipton this afternoon intending to open an account. Nobody to serve us, several customers waiting before us who had been waiting a long time. No counter to serve, you can't get change. Only 1 person working in the branch. Waste of time.

No counter in this bank so cant pay cheques in to child isa's also both automated paying in machines not working so can't pay cash in to current account either. Bank branches without counter service are a waste of time. Useless
