What an unexpected treat! Proper handmade steak and ale pie, crammed with meat, served with sweet garden peas and perfectly cooked chips. Accompanied with a terrific pint of Wensleydale Gamekeeper. I wasn't even hungry!

What a great find. Booked a table for 7 of us as a birthday celebration, it was a burger weekend, but wow what a burger, it tasted amazing, different varieties were tried and loved by all of our party. Compliments to the chef. The service was fantastic and nothing was to much trouble.

A gorgeous pub in small village just outside of Richmond Town, great friendly staff and the barman Alex is fantastic fora recommending a good pint, a lot of specials on offer and happy to accommodate all, food is was delicious, 10/10 will definitely visit again.
We have now reopened.
We are happy to let you know that we have reopened the doors. While we look for new tenants, the pub is being managed by our local community.
