Superb food, great atmosphere. A proper old fashioned pub with clean well decorated and warm rooms

Stopped for lunch. It was a fantastic meal of homemade pies. I had the chicken leek and maple cured ham which was superb. Other people in the party had lamb cutlet pie and another had the steak and litton ale pie.
The lamb brewery beer I tried was excellent. I would recommend this pub for lunch or dinner.

Walkability: Great walking area! Not the easiest and quite rocky and steep stone of it, so you need to be fit enough and prepared, i.e. wear the right shoes..
