Nice to have the option of something without chips. Portions were generous and the beers great. Really nice pub located in the beautiful village of Hawes.
Parking: Loads of free parking (after 6pm) a stone throws from the pub behind the public toilets. No need to squeeze into the main square.

Saw the menu and thought we had to try this place. Both our pies were top notch, served in 20 mins, hot and good portion size. Very friendly service too.

We just had the most pleasant experience at this gem of a place. The food and the service were 100%. The fish pie was fresh and tasty. The lamb Henry was fall off the bone and melt inthe mouth.
