After 30 years of being a customer had an awful lunch . And this was there reply . Marks and Spencer not the shop it use to be . I had told them what i had ordered in my last email . Popped into the M&S cafe for cuppa and a slice of cake mid-afternoon. Cafe very busy, managed to find an empty cleared table by chance. Many of the tables were piled high with the lunch remains from previous customers. Clearly not enough staff in this branch to clear and clean the tables which does not look good or create... read full comment

The large cafe it used to be is now half the size, which is fine. But I was disgusted to see that everything is given using throw-away items - no real cups or plates or knives etc any more. What happened to "use & re-use" idea rather "using & chucking" for the sake of our environment ?
