Favorite cafe in guisborough by far. Extensive menu but nice and simple options too - it's so hard to just get a sausage and egg bun somewhere these days. Everywhere has ciabatta and avocado and I just really miss what my parents always called "granny cafes ", they're simple and comforting and they're disappearing unfortunately.... read full comment

I ordered a steak and ale pie and chips. Chips were raw, the pastry was stogey and under cooked, The pie filling was too salty. The Americano coffee I had was also very bitter. I usually have a good experience in the priory but it seems to have gone down hill since my last visit.
