We stayed here for two nights. The room was clean, spacious and warm. The room had an en-suite which was very clean. The room had towels, tea and coffee facilities and a flat screen tv. We used the bar for food and drink which was great. We had a excellent evening meal as well as a great breakfast.

Lovely cosy pub and the room was great for us and our dogs. The food wasn’t great. Not as described as on the menu. Prawn cocktail described with cucumber and wedge of lemon and brown bread. There was no cucumber or lemon and it came with white bread. The loaded fries were anything but loaded with hardly any pulled pork.... read full comment

Luckily I'm not a person who judges from a review. But having seen a recent review which was amongst loads of good ones I thought I would give it a try.
