We had a lovely meal here today after pumpkin picking at Spilmans with our nieces and nephews. Really attentive with helping the kids choose what to eat and really tasty food. Will definitely be back again if in the area. Thank you!

Guests from London staying with us at Birdforth Hall Cottages at the weekend ate at The Bull on Saturday, reported back that the food was superb - only beaten by the friendly, attentive service of Kev and the Girls! A small 500-year-old traditional village pub owned by the Hannah family. A pub of yesteryear, it is a true little gem. A Free House, situated in the beautiful village of Raskelf, North Yorkshire (just off the A19 north near York). Dating back to the 16th century with its structure boasts beautiful ships timbers. The local cask ales are Theakston's Best, Timothy Taylor's Landlord & Hambleton brewery Stud Blonde (gluten free), The Sunday roasts are to die for with produce direct from the farmers that frequent the pub. Our beautiful seasonal changing menu which includes, local steak selection, homemade pub classics is all prepared fresh and cooked by our amazing head chef Steve Wanless and sous chef Rachel Johnson.
