This had the most 'genuine' atmosphere of any pub I've been to. Really friendly regulars, all having fun, as a community should. I went here to relive Drax, I hadn't been in 30 years. Very much a village pub but don't let that put you off. The food was great and locals and owners had a good welcome for all. The price was also good... two mains and two halves of tap cider for £25.30. My wife asked for no chips and they provided the biggest chicken breast they had and extra salad.
