Went to Waitrose this morning, hoping there would be a Valentine's Day meal deal with a bottle of bubbly. There wasn't, but managed to pick up a nice Charlie Bigham lasagne for two and a bottle of pink Prosecco. Not £12 as I'd hoped, but quite acceptable.

I'm a regular at waitrose, but this day was not good due to staff being rude and ordering me not to use the self-service tillIf I was requested not to use it, and then I wouldn't be so upset

The service I received today was acceptional... I needed Golden Marzipan, it had come in and quickly sold out , but one particular member of staff looked out "the back ", found some and ran out to catch me driving out of the car park ...above and beyond...exceptional staff ..Merry Christmas..!!..
