My first visit to Westgate Bakery and it's off to a good start with friendly staff and a clean and presentable vibe. Prices are a little high but passable. The downstairs area is characterful with exposed features and little nooks and crannies but could do with a slightly cosier ambiance and more airflow - the wall lights...

Staff didn't welcome us on arrival, felt quite snotty towards us taking kids in for a treat in the holidays
Food lovely but expensive, same with drinks
Service not fantastic and feels like it needs to be, if charging a lot for everything
No atmosphere at all, needs improving
