Second time visiting. The food is delicious with very generous portions. The service is exceptionally good - all of the staff are incredibly kind, accommodating and attentive. The atmosphere is cosy. Might be our new local!

I visited here for the first time earlier. Based on my girlfriends recommendation. We received a warm welcome and was shown a seat, no problem (we had a pushchair, so we were unsure if there would be space).
The prices are a bit higher than other places, however it is worth it! Service with a smile and good food.... read full comment

We had brunch today for our dad's birthday. Rebecca and other staff really looked after us and even got dad a candle to blow out! Lovely food, service and place to be! Thanks again.
The Courtyard cafe is an independent Family-run business in the heart of Ashby-de-la-Zouch. We are located between LOROS and the air ambulance charity shops on market street. We are accessed through a gateway which takes you into our secluded spot just off the main road.
We serve a large variety of homemade dishes ranging from breakfasts, main meals, (burgers, pies, steak baguettes, lasagne, omelettes etc) to lighter bites such as toasties and sandwiches. We have a large selection of gluten free options plus vegetarian and vegan dishes too.
We also have a large selection of homemade cakes, scones and desserts. We pride ourselves on excellent, genuine, friendly service and we look forward to meeting you.
