I've been using this cafe for over 45yrs. It's changed name occasionally, changed ownership a few times but is still one of my favourites. The staff are always welcoming and friendly and the food is excellent. Good cafe food at reasonable prices. I do miss the booths though ?

Best place in the town centre Food always fresh and good quality. Plenty of choice. Hygiene excellent scones always covered on counter. Staff using hand wash. Staff very pleasant why go anywhere else.
A family ran cafe serving all day breakfasts, brunch, lunch, home made cakes and scones and of course refreshments, including Farrer’s coffee and tea. Located down Bashful Alley at the top of town, 5 minutes from Lancaster Castle and Lancaster museum, that’s where you’ll find our hidden gem.
