Tastefully repurposed (As Spoons often do). From a former galleried chapel to a thriving pub. Definitely a busy hub in the centre of Darwen. Fab fish n' chips. And other pub favourites. Beer a plenty, plus every tipple known to man. Highly recommended ?

Really like this place it has character and a good atmosphere . There is an extensive menu, and the food is simple and to me very acceptable. Would have given 5 stars overall the attention to clearing and wiping used tables was lacking.

Another Wetherspoon, another unique carpet. I would give it 6 stars if I could for the simple reason that the ladies toilets are on the ground floor! Men's are still upstairs though. The pub is open for breakfast until 12 noon and offers free refills (all day every day) on tea and Lavazza coffee.
