Weekend stay was very good with pleasent and helpfull staff.Dinner B&B all excellent, plus a lively Friday night crowd in the bar.Rooms: Clean and well decorated with modern shower room.Walkability: A short step to train station.Food & drinks: Dinner in cocktail bar and breakfast in dining room were top class.

Broke down on the m6 going to the lake district and the AA man took us to Carnforth. We were stuck and rang the hotel, who were so helpful! We had our French bulldog with us and they put us up in one of their dog friendly rooms and we had a lovely breakfast in the morning too!
