We visited on a whim,we were stuck in traffic for hours and needed a break.We didn't know the area at all we headed into the grasshopper and we were so lucky we choose this pub!! Booked the restaurant for a large social gathering on a Monday evening. Drinks in the bar beforehand & then up to the tables. Great little menu, not overwhelmed with choices. Overpriced frozen fish and the service was appalling. Wasn’t asked if we wanted dessert or more drinks because the staff were too busy on their mobile phones. Not sure how they’ve got previous reviews. I can only think it was relatives or the staff themselves.
