Made the mistake of going into the Sittingbourne Branch to put my name on a joint account... given totally the wrong advice, was told to close the accounts and open new ones.. (totally contrasting what we had already been told in Sheerness Branch), went to Sheerness Branch who sorted out the issue within 5 minutes.

Wanted to open an account for my children. Made a phone call to see if I needed to make an appointment, all the other banks insisted on one, plus 20 different identity documents.Nationwide did not.Told me to just pop in when it was convenient for me, explaining what I needed to bring.
