Very old and dated hotel, really grotty. So grotty in fact, we tried to find another hotel to check-in to, but sadly it was too late. Everything in the locality was booked. We paid to stay for 2 nights, but checked out after one as we couldn’t bear to spend another night in the room. The attached pub/restaurant is also...

I have stayed here on a number of occasions and found it to be clean , friendly and value for money.The staff are excellent and the adjacent restaurant and petrol station are good . It is not new but that does not concern me . Obviously well used by travelling trades people who care about value for money
