This is quite a large convenience store that also has a branch of Subway at the rear. I have visited a few times and often find that there are a lot of gaps in the shelves, particularly fresh produce. The quality of food isn't great at all. A couple of occasions with completely different type of food was off... and stale. The staff handled it well and was very apologetic.... 1 was the satay chicken stick ... was full of blue mold. Put me off even for exchange can't eat them from there now. Costly convenience.What baffles me is why, how & who decided on this Spar in the centre of Chatham???How does this benefit or help a mainly elderly population???Why not an Iceland store???This just wasn't thought through in order to benefit Chatham residents at all, it's just another excercise in greed & profits over logic... read full comment
