The coffee was OK but this Costa Coffee outlet in the Next store in Barstead, Maidstone is the worst Costa I have ever been in. I appreciate that it can get busy but no effort had been made to either clear the tables or sweep the floor. We certainly won't be going back.

This appears to be a very 'clicky' branch of Costa. Not from the customers perspective, but from the staff. The product is generic Costa fayre, but what makes a difference between Costas is the staff. Really rude staff. Asked if I could add something to my order and was told very bluntly “depends what it is” asked for one of the new iced whipped lattes and the girl rolled her eyes and gave a massive sigh. She then had to read how to make one. Clearly a big inconvenience to her. Won’t be returning!
