After going to the post office on Saturday afternoon. And being told that they are close. But finding out that they should be open. (from the post office company untill 5.30pm ) the place is a joke. Aldington Post Office is a tremendous asset to the village. I regularly use the postal services to buy stamps, post letters and packages for the walking group I belong too - until two years ago this included mailing around 400 items three or four times a year and nothing was too much trouble.
