Wasn't happy doing food staff and land lady didn't want to serve food for us me my daughter and partner and grandson 3 meals was was nearly £40

A real locals pub. While they have a variety of drinks, lots of space, etc.. anyone that comes across this place doesn't feel welcome. The staff were polite and friendly, but that should just be the case in any establishment.

Lovely pie and mash at the white lion. Warm welcome from bar staff and the resident pub puppy who tried her hardest not to let us leave.... definitely will return. Thank you for a very enjoyable lunch.
