Really nice hotel over the years they have kept improving when I first went here about 15 years ago it was a tired business focused hotel. It's a contemporary luxury hotel. It's close to St Albans, but the walk isn't suitable for nighttime or anyone who finds hills narrow roads a problem. Quick taxi will resolve this and... read full comment

Chose to spend our wedding night here as we had heard good things and it was a 5 star hotel.
booked and informed them it was for our wedding night, and we would be coming straight from the venue to the hotel. Was informed they would put a gift in the room and rose petals on the bed too. I was very happy.
