Great local pub with 2 sides and a large outdoor space for summer gatherings

We have a regular visit, which we from local church call God in the pub. It's so friendly and we can just sit back and enjoy a pleasant hour or so chatting between ourselves and the locals and not about religion just the local chat.
This local pub has been part of the McMullen family since 1937 and to this day, is right at the heart of the local community.
Sticking firmly with tradition, this is a two-bar proper pub with live Sky and TNT Sports, a large seating area, and darts in the public bar while the cosy lounge is reserved for eats and treats – including McMullen local ales, world beers, your favourite wines and great value pub grub all enjoyed alfresco or by the fire!
Our event space is ideal for groups, meetings, or privacy. It’s available from early until late so if you’re interested in booking us for your event, get in touch!
