Very friendly and inviting. Food high quality and well presented. Set in a beautiful English village Essenden. Easy parking. A good reason why our pubs should be saved. A place to socialise, enjoy a great meal in a wonderful setting.

Been here a few times now - food is always great. Sausage roll as a starter is excellent. Service is always on point. Lovely family run pub.
