appalling customer service today for my in-laws, they have an older account and want to switch to a newer one that will pay then twice the interest, and were told they can't do it as they don't have an appointment. to cap it all the branch is closing down for refurb so will have to travel further, inimpressed

Terrible, never enough staff. One on the kiosk with a huge queue and other staff just coming and going without taking a till. Very rude and disrespectful to loyal customers, treat you like a criminal for trying to pay a cheque in that won't register with the machine. I don't even want to use the bank in town, it's very...
