Room had a funny smell to it almost damp, cold , the lights barely worked and if they did they flickered , the bathroom was disgusting , had mould all up the walls and ceilings , and last year when I stayed I came home with loads of bites on me …… bed bugs ?

Not so Premier…..stayed one night over the weekend. Room looked worn. Cleanliness wasn’t great, neck of hand wash bottle by sink was dirty, dust over the silver railings by sink. All the usual no-frills facilities that you expect from a Premier Inn. The main attraction being the price and the location to just outside of Portsmouth for cruises, ferries and sight-seeing without paying central Portsmouth prices. Many of the rooms are right next to the car park, but surprisingly we weren’t affected... read full comment
