Chose to celebrate my birthday here as we had such a wonderful tea here about 18 mine ago for Mum's 87th. What a mistake, can no longer recommend. Our party included Mum in wheelchair and 11yr old nephew. Both love chocolate cake but the cakes (crumbly squares cut from large cakes) included Victoria sponge and ginger.... read full comment

Afternoon Tea today was lovely, as always Great Food, service and place to eat. Cemal is a true Gentleman, very welcoming. The staff are polite and efficient. I highly recommend you visit.

Formerly a boarding school, the Montfort Restaurant and Bistro sits amongst natural woodland, open meadows and ornamental lakes just minutes from the market town of Romsey.
Our beautiful restaurant, bar, bistro and terrace are open from 12pm every day. Please book in advance to avoid disappointment.
