Called in not long after opening, so very quiet and not much atmosphere. Service was quick, food was good, worth another visit.
Parking: Off road gravel parking, sufficient for several minibus and perhaps twenty cars.

Had a tasty meal on a quiet Saturday lunchtime. Reasonable choice of menu but the specials were good selection and we had tenderloin pork in a mushroom sauce. Friendly staff. Reasonable price.

First time being there and made me go in twice same day Very cosy and classic.
Step back 400 years and walk into a quirky taverns with low oak beamed ceilings and inglenook fireplaces. The hustle of bustle, the laughter and chatter, the clinking of glasses and the smells of freshly homemade and homegrown produce. You've just walked into The Spread Eagle in Liss. Steeped in history and talks of ghosts, crusades and hangings from the old oak tree, the perfect setting for an evening dinner or light lunch after a walk in the local forests...........................
