In 1997, I put £1,100 in a Nationwide Capitalbuilder savings account. I have never received any statements and forgot about the account. 26 years later, I closed the account and was underwhelmed to find the balance was a mere £1,549. Best nationwide branch, manager even made me a coffee whilst we went through the application form for my new account, staff always greet with a smile and friendly face, i have a high amount of respect for the professional maner this branch operates in.
