The bloke at the bar was chatty and friendly. The food was as you'd expect but the big shame was the manager.
Whilst they wanted to be chatty, I did not think it was professional to scold staff in front of customers and was a little taken aback at a comment directed towards me. They couldn't even take us to our table... read full comment

Staying at the next door hotel on business. Excluding breakfast I’ve had 7 evening meals. The food is what you’d expect, good honest pub food, However every single meal has had a problem, bits missing, sometimes not arriving at all and once the wrong food. The latest meal was correct but arrived wrapped in cling film.... read full comment
